Traveling wave tube
Abstract
This item is a long, thin glass tube with a larger cylindrical end. The thin part contains what looks like a coiled spring. The spring is attached to a copper base and some wires in the thicker end. Original wrapping labeled by Mendenhall: "Traveling wave tube/J.R. Pierce '33/R. Kompner."
